What to do when a candidate doesn't show up for an interview?

Having no-shows to interviews can be frustrating, but it doesn't have to completely derail your hiring plans – use these strategies instead!

Have a plan in place that includes reaching out by phone and email (73% of employers do this) or rescheduling for another day.

Implementing proactive measures like 'invite reminders' prior to an interview could also help reduce the amount of last minute dropouts.

However, consider that if a candidate doesn't show up for an interview his/her chances to be called for another job offer will considerably reduce.
