Warehouse EDI Specialist

Summary

Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining client/server application systems. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., ANSI X12 EDI, C#, ASP.NET, etc.) Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The goal is to translate EDI docs into our system via careful mapping, process the orders, and feedback plus corresponding EDI docs in return.
 

  • Pay Rate: USD $ 30.00 - USD $40.00 Hourly

  • Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  • Location: Ontario, CA

Requirements

  • Participate in system function development according to the company's software development process.

  • Write relevant technical documents and complete software project development work according to project requirements.

  • Complete related work such as product and other system integration debugging during project implementation.

  • Responsible for testing, deployment, backup, and related document writing before system launch, and cooperating with team members to complete other related tasks assigned by the company.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer-related major.

  • More than 5 years of software development experience, with more than 2 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and developing medium to large-scale .NET projects.

  • Proficient in Windows and Linux systems.

  • Proficient in .NET Core, .NET 5, and other frameworks.

  • Proficient in B/S and C/S system development under the .NET platform, with a deep understanding and application of WEBAPI and WPF.

  • Proficient in one of the ORM frameworks such as Sugar, FreeSql, or EF.

  • Proficient in Docker usage, including images, containers, and related technologies.•

  • Proficient in front-end development frameworks such as Angular and Vue.

  • Proficient in one or more of SQL Server, MongoDB, or Redis, and proficient in data structure and SQL optimization.

  • Priority is given to those who have experience in developing software for medium to large-scale warehouse logistics WMS systems.

  • Good thinking and programming habits, familiar with the software development process, able to complete technical summaries and details according to product requirements.

  • Strong ability to work independently, strong communication skills, serious and responsible work attitude, able to withstand work pressure, and have a spirit of teamwork. Required Skills Continued:

  • Programming experience with C#, Visual Studio.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, ANSI X12 EDI.

  • Dynamics NAV experience is a plus.

  • Full use and application of standard principles, concepts, and techniques.

  • Ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements and assist in translating them into technical design specifications and development of projects.

  • Excellent process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with working in an Agile/SCRUM environment

  • Reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • Works effectively in a team environment and under general supervision.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organized, detailed oriented, thorough, and able to handle heavy workloads and deadlines.

  • Specializing in IT programs is a plus.

  • Product Management background is a plus.

  • Software Development background is a plus.

  • Fluent Mandarin is desired but not mandatory.
